Hey there! A bit about me:I'm currently trying to break out of the corporate tech industry into my passion: game development. I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science and professional experience in project management and technical writing.I hope to gain as much experience in game development as possible, whether that be in project management, programming, writing, art, or any aspect of the process! Video games mean so much to me, and my goal is to make interesting, unique, and artistic experiences.
About my work:Making experimental video games is what I want to do in life! At the moment I tend to lean towards horror and/or dating sim visual novels with heavy use of mini-games in my work. I find the combination of 2D art, story writing, and pushing the bounds of Ren'Py using Python to be a fun and rewarding challenge! I love experimenting with gameplay, animations, and story telling through my proficiency in coding with Ren'Py.I also have extensive experience in project management and writing due to my professional careers in software PM and technical writing. I love leading and collaborating with others to achieve greatness! Additionally, being a tech writer means I spend most of my day writing and editing, so I have a keen eye for grammar and sentence structure.Despite most of my game development experience being visual novels using Ren'Py, I'd love to branch out into other genres and game engines. I'm always trying to learn and build my skill set as much as possible!
About hiring me:I am currently open to any area of visual novel development! However, I would be most confident in my abilities as a Ren'Py programmer, project manager, or editor. My rates for programming are anywhere from $20-$30/hour depending on the complexity of the work. Please feel free to email me at [email protected].Thank you so much for your interest!
